Get your taxes done using TurboTax
THis has been an issue for a few years now. It happens when you enter the 1098-T and then go back and change something on it. Usually, folks get stuck in a loop and can't get out of it without dumping out of the program entirely.
TO fix this, you have to delete the 1098-T entirely and re-enter it anew making sure to get it right the first time.
To delete it, when asked if you have a 1098-T say YES. Then you'll see the previously entered 1098-T listed. Click the DELETE button to the right of it, then YES to confirm the delete. Now click the "Add ANother 1098-T" button and enter it anew.
Note that if you are an undergraduate that was under the age of 24 on Dec 31 of the tax year, then there's a 99% chance that *you* are *not* the one who reports the 1098-T or any of the education expenses.
