Since I filed both my federal and state returns electronically, do I need to mail anything?

I owe taxes on both; do I need to mail in the returns?

Get your taxes done using TurboTax

If you filed by e-filing then you do not need to mail in the actual tax return forms.  You need to pay your taxes that are due by the filing deadline of April 17, 2018.  You can do that by mailing the payments in with the 1040V payment voucher or you could go to the IRS direct pay site and pay online.  If you mail in a check or money order, it is a good idea to use a mailing service that will track it like UPS or certified mail so you will know the IRS received your check.

In order to pay your state tax due, please look to see how your state prefers be receive payment by going to the state's tax website.
