He will file a separate return with his own income.
To do this online he will have to create an account of his own, as you can only file one return per account from the online product.
When he is going through the personal info section of the product just make sure that he indicates that he can be and will be claimed as a dependent on someone else's return. Other than that it should be a similar process to filing your own taxes.
