You can stop the process at any time, exit the program, it should ask you to save. You can then come back later and finish. You do not actually file your taxes until the very end and there is a tab that asks you FILE YOUR RETURN. So until you click that and follow the instructions you have not filed your return. You can print out your return and review it and save as a PDF prior to filing.
