My son received half his signing bonus ($5K of $10K) but did not receive a W-2. His employer (Deloitte) will report $10K (+ witholding) in 2017. Does son report in 2016
Employer does not plan on issuing any paperwork for 2016 payment of $5K (no W-2, no 1099)
