Same thing happened to me for 2017 taxes. I had state and federal taxes withheld from RMD by Schwab. I filled in 1099r as instructed, included taxes taken out for RMD, putting data in exactly as appeared on 1099r. Separately, I filled in the 4 quarterly estimated taxes paid. I did not double enter the data anywhere. Total of non-RMD estimated taxes, plus RMD taxes were right in TurboTax working summary. Then, TurboTax double counted RMD taxes paid, so the submission was wrong. I guess I'll have to manually deduct the double counting for 2018 taxes. Lousy!
