You would need to change your dependent information in the Personal Info section of TurboTax, you can add or remove dependents there - this dependent change will flow to your D.C. return.
To enter additional dependents
in TurboTax, please take the following steps:
- In your return, select "Personal Info" tab
- On "Personal info summary" screen, click on
"Add a dependent" box
- Enter information as requested on each screen for the
additional dependent
To remove a dependent,
please take the following steps:
- In your return, select "Personal Info" tab
- On "Personal info summary" screen, click on
"Delete" to the right of the dependent whom you wish to remove
- You will be ask whether you are sure that you want to
delete the dependent - click on "Yes" button
