Get your taxes done using TurboTax

If you don't have a W-2 to enter, you can skip that section. Then, you may enter income received from direct sales this way:

  1. Sign in to TurboTax
  2. Click Take me to my return
  3. Look in the black menu to the left
  4. Click on Federal then Wages & Income
  5. Open the Self-Employment section by clicking on the downward arrow
    If you don't see this section, you may need to click "Add more income", then "See full list"
  6. Next to Income & Expenses, click Start
  7. The program will ask "Did you have any self-employment income or expenses?" Answer Yes
  8. Follow the interview

Please note, you will be prompted to upgrade to TurboTax Deluxe. Also, depending on your situation, you may be prompted to upgrade to the Self Employed product (for example, if you have business deductions).
