If you don't have a W-2 to enter, you can skip that section. Then, you may enter income received from direct sales this way:
- Sign in to TurboTax
- Click Take
me to my return
- Look in the black menu to the left
- Click on Federal then Wages
& Income
- Open the Self-Employment section by
clicking on the downward arrow
If you don't see this section, you may need to click "Add more income", then "See full list"
- Next to Income
& Expenses, click Start
- The program will ask
"Did you have any self-employment income or expenses?"
Answer Yes
- Follow the interview
Please note, you will be prompted to upgrade to TurboTax Deluxe. Also, depending on your situation, you may be
prompted to upgrade to the Self Employed product (for example, if you have
business deductions).
