How can I trust Turbo Tax to accurately calculate my return when it can't even accurately calculate my son's birthday?

I verified my son's birthday, then, a few pages later, the program said it knows my son is 12.  He is not 12.  He is 13.  If TurboTax can't get that right, how can I trust it to correctly run all the formulas involved in calculating my return?
