If you want to delete this form:
- Continue working on your return in TurboTax Online. (If your return isn't open, you'll need to sign in and click Take me to my return.)
- Click Tax Tools (lower left side of your screen).
- Select Tools.
- In the pop-up window, select Delete a form. (Click the screenshot below for reference.)
- Scroll down and click Delete next to Election to Amortize Startup Costs. (Click the second screenshot below.)
If you want to delete the startup costs:
- Continue working on your return in TurboTax Online. (If your return isn't open, you'll need to sign in and click Take me to my return.)
- Click Tax Tools (lower left side of your screen).
- Select Tools.
- In the pop-up window, select Topic Search.
- In the I'm looking for: box, type sch c.
- In the results bar, highlight sch c, then click GO.
- Under Your self-employed work summary, click Edit next to the line of work. (Click the third screenshot below.)
- Under Here's your work info, scroll down under EXPENSES and click the trashcan icon next to Startup costs. (Click the fourth screenshot below.)
- Under the Startup Cost Summary, click Delete next to the cost you wish to delete. (Click the fifth screenshot below.)
