If I owed last year, and am on an installment plan, do I need to do anything special when filing this year?
I'm pretty sure I don't, but I just want to be sure: I owed taxes last year, and I'm currently on a payment plan. I definitely do NOT owe this year; are there any additional forms or anything I need to file, or do I just file as normal, including the amount I'm expecting as a "refund", and the IRS will send me the difference?
Additionally, if I end up overpaying, how long will it take the IRS to send me the difference, or would I have to contact them to claim it somehow?
