Odd ? my standard deduction is calculating correctly on the worksheet but is carried forward to my 1040 incorrectly

the standard deduction for married filing joint is $24000 per the SD worksheet while my itemized deductions are less. Somehow a different amount $ 26,600 is carried forward to form 1040. How is that possible ? No amounts have been overridden
