When a certificate of adjustment is received for repayment of income, federal, and/or state taxes you will enter the amount into TurboTax by doing the following:
- Select Federal then the Deductions and Credits tab
- Scroll to Other Deductions and Credits, click Start
- Click "Yes" when asked about less common expenses
- Enter the description and the amount of your certificate, click Continue
- Continue navigating through the prompts
