The best way to track your refund is at the following
IRS link “Where’s My Refund” https://www.irs.gov/refunds
. You can start checking on
the status of your refund within 24 hours after the IRS has received your
e-file, which is when it has been “Accepted”. This IRS tracking tool displays
progress through 3 stages: (1) Return Received, (2) Refund Approved and (3)
Refund Sent.

Another reason you could be waiting for
approval more than 48 hours, is if you have claimed the EITC or
