I am in the same situation (1099-MISC, Box 3 and for Corporate bond interest). The problem is after you reply that is was not for my main job is then asks if you earned it for 2018 (well obviously) and then if I expect to earn it again in 2019. If I answer I expect it again in 2019 it claims I am a business. If I omit expecting it in 2019 I then have to tell the program I did NOT intend to get the money otherwise it claims I am a business again! Is there an easier way around this as if the program thinks I am a business my taxes go through the roof.
