According to answer from TurboTaxMarilynG from of another user's post, "You could go back into MY INFO scroll down to MAILING ADDRESS and click the blue pencil on the right hand side to Edit.

Delete and re-enter all the information in this section. This has resolved the problem for others."

The error code you received and posted in your question suggests that there is an issue with the street address on your return or at least the program sees it as such. 601ERRV:4, CustHdr_8-?:?-Invalid Street Address. Must be between 1 and 40". Please try the following instructions in Step 1 below to verify that your street address is correct and then proceed to step 2 and follow the instructions to try and resolve the error. 

Step 1:

  1. Log into your TurboTax program and click continue your return. 
  2. In the upper left-hand of the screen click on Personal Information tab
  3. Then click continue and scroll down to "Mailing Address & Phone Number" and click Edit
  4. Now click on each address field and retype all the information for your address (Even if the address is correct please re-type it all in for each field to ensure it registers correctly)
  5. Once you have click on each field and re-typed all the information in please click the continue button 

Step 2:

  1. Now that you have re-entered all of your information, please go to the top of the TurboTax screen and clickEdit and then click Forms
  2. Once you are in Form view and can see your tax return forms, find your version of Form (1040) that you have on the list to the left and click on that form and you should see all of your personal information (Here we want to verify that your address is correct on this form) by clicking on each field on the form that relates to your address and if it highlights blue move on to the next field pertaining to your address. 
  3. Once you have verified all the information is correct and clicked on each address field on the form, please click on Close Form on the bottom of the Form screen (may have to click twice to completely get out of Form view and back to your Personal Info tab) and from here you can now click on the File tab at the top of the screen and try to e-file again
