If you are using TurboTax Online you will not be able to enter your 1099-Misc expenses without upgrading to TurboTax Self-Employed.
TurboTax Deluxe using the downloaded software can handle 1099-Misc expenses without the upgrade, however you don't get as much guidance from the program.
