Thank god I had the same issue and everyone is doing it right except one small step. When you click on add state and get back into the printing options youre not going to get the mail in instructions correctly. It will keep saying you filed electronically on your state returns. To fix this you find the page that says to change them from file to paper returns then click next and pick up where you left off. Once it takes you back through the steps keep clicking next like youre refilling it will take you back to the option to print the mail return with the proper personalized instructions you need. Hope this is clear. I dont remember exactly but basically get back to where you changed it to paper return and go through the process again
