I suggest you try to save it to your Desktop with the Save As function.
- This will ensure you have a saved file.
- Log out of TurboTax
- Sign out and sign back into your computer
- Make sure you are saving to your local hard drive and not directly to an external flash drive or a restricted network folder.
- Sign back into TurboTax
- Try to save again
