I'm in the same boat as most of these users. This is NOT acceptable. I would not be using TurboTax for the 1041 if it wasn't for the fact that tax accountants overcharge for my relatively simple taks of creating a K-1 from my trust for my 1040. Frankly, this year's version is even worse than it has been in the past. I had to override several entries where steps were necessary in the step by step but overlooked. Forinstance, I kept getting the allocation to beneficiaries at some percentage other than 100% for just one benefactor (myself) and finding the total for my income via forms to distribute. The step by step seemed to assume a number that skipped dividends. I could go on, but frankly I'm too mad about the fact I can't even file because of this software glitch.
We really should be given our money back for the time wasted on this issue. I've spent WAY more time than can be expected.
