@drcox I was having trouble with Scenario 1 that you referenced (multiple accounts for different individuals at the same institution).  In essence, it was requiring me to delete my 1099s if I wanted to import my husband's 1099s (different logins, multiple 1099s, different account #s, etc.).  It was not going to allow a second, separate import session from Fidelity if it saw that one already existed.  After about a month of complaints on this board, they got it fixed, at least for me, for Fidelity.  My return now includes two imports from Fidelity.

 

I did not try what you suggested in Scenario 2, unselecting some form 1099s I had already "worked on".  So I don't know what would have happened, or was happening, in that scenario.
