An IP PIN is a 6-digit code attributed to you by the IRS to prevent identity theft.

If you have one, you'll have to enter in your tax return.
- In TurboTax Online, open your return
- Click on Search (magnifying glass icon) at the top right of your screen
- In the Search box, enter IP PIN and click Enter
- In the search result box, click on Go to IP PIN
- TurboTax will take you directly to the section where you can start entering your IRS IP PIN.
