In both the Online and Desktop versions of TurboTax, after completing the entry of a 1099-INT, it will show a summary.
- At the bottom you can select [+ Add Investments]
- This will bring you back to the beginning input screen for investments.
- You can choose between a 1099-INT or the 1099-DIV
I'm not sure why the format changed for selecting the 1099-INT before the 1099-R, but if you wish to post the 1099-R first:
- Under Federal
- Select Wages & Income
- [ I'll choose what I work on
- Scroll down to Retirement Plans and Social Security
- Select IRA, 401-K Pension Plan Withdrawals (1099-R)
You can now post your 1099-R
