if you're still getting stuck on importing 1099s you're probably just better off entering manually and move on, especially INT/DIV don't take long to do and you likely have to review the interview questions after the 1099 input anyway.
Most 1099Bs can also be simply input at the summary level, none of the transaction detail is needed to file on Schedule D, unless there are adjustments to the cost basis for wash sales, AMD, non-covered lots etc.
