Live "TAX EXPERTS" could not help me figure out how to do backdoor roth conversion
Did a backdoor $7000 Roth conversion with the $7000 nondeductible traditional ira contribution.
TurboTax Desktip Premier
After entering entire ira contribution amount of $8000 as nondeductible, I am seeing part of the money $7677 on line 14 & 18 of form 8606 as taxable. The line 8 is blank. ( Form 1040 line 4b is $7677 .)
I googled and followed the TurboTax instructions for backdoor roth and my form 8606 line 8 is still blank.
The so called tax "experts" i paid money for was a complete waste of time...could not help me at all.
any advice would be welcomed.
