If your computer has W11 S mode, you can't install anything without permanently disabling it

Method 1: Settings Application

  1. Open the Settings App: Click on the Start button (Windows logo) or press the Windows key on your keyboard, and then select Settings (the gear icon).

  2. Go to System: In the Settings window, click on System.

  3. About Section: Scroll down the left sidebar and select About.

  4. Check Windows Specifications: Look for the "Windows specifications" section. If your system is in S Mode, you should see a line indicating that your Windows is running in S Mode. It will usually say something like "Windows 11 Home in S mode" or "Windows 11 Pro in S mode".

 

 

if not, another option is to right click on the installer app and select "run as administrator" if that's available.
