F1040 is for your 1040 tax form. 516 is the primary taxpayer has already been claimed as a dependent on someone else's return.
What to do:
- If you are a student, check with your parents to see if they claimed you. You may need to check the box that says someone else can claim me as a dependent.
- Double check that you entered your correct social security number. You could have mistyped it.
- If neither of those, there is a chance you could be a victim of identity theft.
