If you were able to complete the California return and are only having an issue with completing the purchase to e-file that return, try these troubleshooting steps:
- Check your Internet connection.
- Logging out of TurboTax and back in, restarting your device, changing browsers (Chrome generally works well), or clearing your cache and cookies often helps.
In addition, some Mac users encounter an issue on the screen where the user is prompted to pay for the California e-file. The button needed to continue to pay may appear outside the visible screen. If that could be the case, try attaching a larger monitor so that the full text on the screen appears.
