I did not go ahead and pay. I’m using the mobile app, so I don’t see anything in the top left except the home button. The top right is just a pop up for “Get Expert Help” but when I begin the checkout stage, it charges me $99 (reduced from $139) for premium for the federal tax filing, which again I never agreed to or was made aware I would be using until the checkout stage, and then for state it just says “2025 state filing” for $39, reduced from $64 for a subtotal of $138 excluding sales tax and a little congratulatory message saying that I saved $65.
