well, on your advice, I looked at my 1099 and yes I do have a capital gain dist....I believe it is based off my Nov of 2025 mistake.....I think you are saying I shouldn't be having to pay capital gains?
I'm going to be having a turbo tax guy do my taxes...I'll try and explain it to him as well.....I know you are answering lots of questions from other folks, much easier to review than mine, I know. I really screwed things up so appreciate very much your input dMertz. You have been quite helpful. I will keep this line open.....pls don't be surprised if I come back to you on this later.....my goal is to avoid those capital gains taxes.
