We all draw our lines in different places. For me, transparency is just the starting point. Intuit has changed significantly over the years, and TurboTax now plays a major role in driving Intuit’s debt-related products. That shift explains why advertising feels so aggressive within TurboTax—and, in my view, sometimes misleading. H&R Block has its own issues, but Intuit operates on a different scale. You'll get your taxes done just fine sticking with Intuit. I'm simply sharing that I personally find it a relief to break free. I also think they'll only get worse as time goes on.
