First, start from the TurboTax website
- Go to turbotax.intuit.com
- Choose File → Start for free
- When asked what you want to do, select anything that involves:
- Investments
- Rental property
- Stock sales
- Crypto
- ESPPs
TurboTax will automatically route you into Premium (or offer the upgrade).
