As long as you have not filed, you can update this in TurboTax Online per How do I change my bank info for direct deposit?:
- Open or continue your return.
- Select File.
- Select Start or Revisit or Continue next to Step 2 Your refund/payment info.
- Select See all options on the Get your refund up to 5 days early screen.
- Choose Direct deposit and follow the onscreen instructions.
If you have already filed, the IRS will not be able to deposit to a closed account, so they'll contact you. If it is a valid account you just want to change, contact the IRS directly at 800-829-1040.
