In 2025, I have sold a lot of personal items for a loss and I did not reach the ebay 1099-k threshold. It's not a business, just old crap. I am trying to enter the "income" and offset with the losses under the 1099-k section. It asks me if I received a 1099-k, and when I click "No," it takes me back to the original screen.
I don't want to get jammed up if the IRS sees this "income" even though eBay "allegedly" isn't reporting anything under 20k/200 transactions. Does anybody have any ideas on what to do?
