To enter your Form 1099-INT in TurboTax Desktop, with your return open
- Select the "Federal Taxes" tab.
- Select "Wages & Income"
- On the screen with "Your 2025 Income Summary" scroll down to "Interest & Dividends"
- Click on Start (or Update) next to "Interest on 1099-INT"
- Click on the "Interest" box to highlight it and then "Continue"
- Fill from you information for your Form 1099-INT
If you are prompted to select your financial institution or to import, select "I'll Type it in Myself"
