Get your taxes done using TurboTax

So, after three IRS rejections (26, 28 and yesterday) I gave up and filed with TaxFreeUSA ($23.98). I received my acceptance this morning. TurboTax would not refund my $130, even though there is an exception in their return policy that allows for software errors on their part. I intend to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. As the old saying goes...Penny wise and pound foolish. To get their $130, TurboTax lost a loyal customer (7 years) who will never come back. I think that whoever monitors this discussion board has done a very poor job of keeping us all informed about when the processing error will be fixed. There was zero help when I went back into my taxes to try and fix them after they were rejected. If it were not for the wonderful Customer Service Representative (Mary) who tried her best to get me a refund, I would be breathing dragons's fire right now. With so much in life, we get to vote with our feet. A well managed company would have reached out to each of us and at least offered us a discount coupon for next years' tax season instead of saying "We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause"...and [we] will keep your $130.
