Mailing returns only works if the IRS inputs your data correctly from those paper returns. The reason I started using Turbotax many years ago was for the ability to efile after the IRS for two years had input my returns into their system with huge errors and caused massive time and frustration to get them to correct their mistakes. Until this year Turbotax has been great. No more paper filing for me and Turbotax needs to fix their efile problem or I will need to use another product that works for efiling of 1041s.
