E- filing problems usually fall into two categories: First, those that happen when you are trying to e-file your return during the submission process: and second, the rejections that come from the IRS or state tax agency after they have received your electronically filed return.
Some frequent filing mistakes that many people make, include: putting incorrect Social Security numbers or making errors spelling their names, using wrong bank routing/account numbers, and forgetting to sign the return.
- Go to your TurboTax account.
- You may want to go back to your profile and review and update your name information from the very beginning.
- Delete your name completely and then enter it again, and save it.
