I had this problem last year & tried everything. I finally discovered, as one other user mentioned, that the file was getting too large for TT to continue. As soon as I started deleting old, unnecessary documents from the file (old depreciation reports, specifically) the program began to work beautifully. I wrote myself a note in my records about what happened, how to correct it, and to delete old/unnecessary records from TT every few years. Good luck!
