My daughter's mother and I live tofether, but aren't married. She works too, and has a Marketplace insurance plan for herself, but my daughter is on Florida Kidscare. I usually claim my daughter because I earn more, then I split the child tax amount with her mother to be fair. This year her mother is convinced that she has to claim our daughter as a dependent on her taxes, due to listing our daughter for her Marketplace insurance. If she does I will owe taxes. Is she correct, or can I claim her like usual?
