Is your income listed in Box 1 on your W-2 more than 176,100?
If so, the full tip amount you reported to your employer on Form 4070 may not be listed in Box 7 on your W-2 since Box 7 on your W-2 only reports Social Security Tips.
To clarify, is this the situation you are experiencing?
If so, what is reported on your W-2 Box 1 and on your W-2 Box 8?
