This license code is already linked to another account

Client since 2008. This year when I try to log in Intuit says they have no account with my email or phone. I created another account and tried to activate my 2024 software but Intuit says that the activation code belongs to 'another account'. Now I can't use the software at all. How can I reconcile my current account with my old one that Intuit says doesn't exist?  I may have to call Intuit because I can't find any help online. Dan Viau
