If you are going to try the TT online route, Intuit has an offer if you buy desktop you can switch to online premier for Fed+State for no extra cost.  (this offer is open to everyone not just Win 10 - another example where Intuit is certainly pushing towards online rather than desktop which was likely a big factor in the Win 10 decision).  When you try installing it on Win 10 it would show the window below.  I suppose you can just buy the Deluxe version to get this offer.

 

Online is not the same workflow/experience as desktop; it has no forms mode and you can only prepare 1 return per account, it's not like desktop where you can do multiple returns or play around with it later in the year.  But I believe online has more capabilities than desktop to upload or import from documents, see blog post below.
