I'm going to somewhat disagree with the other answers.
I agree that if "all other things being equal", it is likely there is no difference (however, the IRS does NOT publish what factors go into what triggers an audit, so it is hypothetically possible a self-prepared return MIGHT be a factor).
However, "all other things" are NOT equal. It is easy to make mistakes using DIY software like TurboTax, and those mistakes could increase the likelihood of an audit.
