A network connection should NOT be required given that updates can be DL'd and applied manually. I find it particularly interesting that after installing 2025 Deluxe Desktop and then DLing the latest update file that its size was about the same as TT itself. One might reasonably expect the software to now be in a ready state of use. Unsurprisingly, almost all sections of TT STILL say to check back later because they're still working on them. If that is true, then what in the hell is in that 380MB of original TT and additional 380MB of Update?
Inquiring minds really want to know.
FWIW, switching to Forms to edit a field and then back to Guided seems to alleviate at least some of the consternation.
