Both forms state that if requested information is not reported on a CAF (Centralized Authorization File), e.g. W2s, 1099s, then the forms CANNOT be submitted online. However, they also say, if forms are signed electronically (including a scanned signature) they MUST be submitted online. We are using her scanned signature (since we live miles apart)
Since the other options are fax and USPS, i am hoping to be able to upload the 8821 (and later, the 2848 if necessary)
Also, after i submit the 8821, do i have to ask for the transcripts? Is this form a request or only authorization?
