can't speak for Turbotax but I imagine their focus is on testing and releasing a fully working product for filing rather than estimating, otherwise people will complain it's not working properly. they had 900 pages of tax legislation dropped on them 5 months ago and then had to wait on IRS to finalize new forms, so who knows what affects these areas being released to us. I was surprised to see Form 1040 went from 2 pages to 4 now.
supposedly there is usually a big update mid Dec which should come today but most of the screens say Jan/Feb for availability so I wouldn't sit around waiting on turbotax.
you may be able to use forms mode in the meantime but some of those can be tricky.
