We should be safe from Crowdstrike but it took down 80% of the world's windows machines in a single day and that's just one recent example. If I had a nickel for every time someone said "should be safe" I'd have enough money to educate the masses about the dangers of acting on the "should be safe" position.
Safety is an extremely thin and fragile veil of simple ones and zeroes.

Spoke with Jason with TurboTax Tech Support who brushed off my inquiry about the detections. He said, "I've never heard of VirusTotal". YMMV, but I'm done with TT. Took 8 calls to weave thru their ridiculously limited, automated answering system that doesn't recognize the word "human". This company has divorced itself from its customers.
