No, the IRS does not require you to include a W2 with $0 in Box 1. If there is $0 in Box 1 of the W2, just delete it and you should be able to E-File your return. When Box 1 is $0, it does not affect your Tax Return.
Please follow these steps to delete the Form W-2 in TurboTax Online:
- Login to your TurboTax account and Click "Take me to my return"
- From the left side-bar, choose "Tax Tools" then "Tools"
- Click on "Delete a form" (Click on Screenshot below for reference)
- Select "Delete" next to the Form W-2 and follow the on-screen instructions.
