@IL_Gal you may want to understand the history for Intuit's business decision. Their profit margins are much higher on Online than Desktop. Desktop is a legacy product from 30 years ago before the interest existed that would never be implemented today.
55% of Windows users are already on Win11. Intuit is betting that more upgrade, others migrate to Online (which is its preferred solution financially) and if they lose a few customers along the way, that just gets them closer to sunsetting Desktop.
they have no financial interest in extending the life of the Desktop product.
